You are standing in the kitchen and dining area, an unglamorous area typical to what you'd see in just about any American house. The actual cooking area is small but clean and free of clutter, a sharp contrast to the dining table which is a mess of homework papers and backpacks. There is also a tiny nook with a view of the backyard through its large windows, a perfect spot for one's morning coffee.

As with the living room, there are signs of recent activity by the residents. On the windowsil by the nook, you can see an abandoned mug of oversteeped tea sitting next to a hardcover book. Catching a faint, dissonant sound, you turn to see a portable TV on the counter, its screen lost to static.
